Best to go in term time. This is an awesome place. Great for a range of ages but for toddlers there is an area with different scenes all set up like a dentist, doctors surgery, office, road diggers, lots of things. The kids can try out all the different activities. There is also a big water process area where the kids can really get involved. The children can get wet so take a spare set of clothes and spare socks etc, and shoes! Mine got drenched! There is also loads of interactive stuff about the brain. And also an aeroplance cockipit and cars, a tram and a train.... just so much. Really good for all ages. You can take your own food but there is a restuarant which is average. I'd recommend taking a picnic. Theres outdoor play as well but depends on weather. You're in the centre of Birmingham too so you have everything you need there on your doorstep. If you're prepared this is just the best day out.

Great day out with our daughter and nephew! Lots of learning activities, we especially liked the recycling centre! We spent 4 hours here and didn’t manage to visit everything, the attention span of a 4 year old is often quite short! My nephew (6) was eager to learn more about each area so we had to do as much as we could in between trying to occupy a 4 year old too. The KidsCity with all the different pretend play areas was a big hit and the science garden kept them occupied for a long time! There are different activities on the programme (some payable and some free). Can’t wait to go back when Kitty is a bit older too!
